Kashmir’s first Muslim woman pilot Iram Habib, will soon fulfill her dreams.
Iram Habib, who lives in Jammu and Kashmir, became the first Muslim Kashmiri women pilot of the state. Iram will soon join the private airline next month. Iram has completed her graduation from Dehradun, later she graduated from Sher-e-Kashmir University.
Her father is a businessman, Iram’s family wanted her to do a government job after doing PhD. But Iram did not give up her dream and finally made her family ready for this.
She left 2 yrs of her PhD
Iram always dream of becoming a pilot.She left her PhD of one and a half years. She struggled for about six years for making her parents agree on her decision. Iram did her PhD for one and a half years, but later she left her studies for American Flight School, she went to Miami City to take the pilot training.
Everyone was surprised to find out that I was a Kashmiri woman doing flying, but I went ahead to achieve my goal. .
260 hrs of experience:
Iram got training from a flight school in America in 2016. Iram is in Delhi at this time and is taking classes to become a professional pilot. Iram said that she has the experience of flying for about 260 hours in the United States. She got a license to fly commercial airplanes in the US and Canada.
Iram emerges as an inspiration, saying that her relatives are not yet convinced that I have chosen this as my job. Iram has carried out training in Airbus 320 in Bahrain and Dubai. This time she has got a job offer from two companies in India. This success of Iram will inspire the youth of Kashmir.
