You all want to make your child’s first birthday memorable. For every parent their child’s first birthday is very special. We all plan a Birthday Party for the baby and we want them to feel special that day. But what if you choose a unique theme for your child’s birthday and that is also astonishing and horror?
People can question your thinking when listening to such ideas, and when you will come to know the theme of the first birthday party of the child mentioned in this article, you will feel the same. This is the story of Amy Luis, who gave a great and splendid party on her son’s first birthday, she also got a zombie themed cake.
People express their anger on this by giving various types of comments such as – Hateful, aggressive. All these words were used by people on the birthday of her child.
Your heart will melt after knowing the reason for this baby’s mother to choose a Zombie themed cake and the reason behind this photoshoot.
At the time of childbirth, the doctors told Luis that:
‘From the time the doctors told me my placenta had detached and there was no heartbeat, to the time they cut him out was such a whirlwind of emotion,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘I remember feeling terrified but still hopeful. Even though they had said “get her down to theatre right now the baby has no heartbeat” I thought, this kind of stuff happens all the time.
‘But when they took him out and there was no cry, my heart just sank. It wasn’t a sad feeling, it was anger.’
She further said:
‘I knew he was dead I knew he was gone,’ she said.
‘I was almost upset at the doctors for wasting time trying to revive him, because I thought they were getting our hopes up for nothing and in my mind I was already so numb to the whole situation I just wanted them to stop.
‘I could hear them reviving him “one and two and three and breathe” over and over again, time was ticking by and everyone was getting more and more discouraged.
‘He was lifeless and there was nothing we could do. When the doctor sat next to me, I just said “he’s gone isn’t he? He’s dead”.
‘The doctor squeezed my hand to try and show his emotion but it was a mess. It was awful. I just kept seeing this tiny white coffin flashing through my mind as I started to process what had just happen.’
As the mother was having a blood transfusion, she overheard a nurse cried out: ‘He’s come back!’
‘It was the longest and most awful 13 minutes of my life,’ she recalled.
Baby Phoenix proved to be a little fighter when he was ‘brought back’ to life on Halloween on October 31.
‘The nurses and doctors were running all over the place, I still hadn’t heard him cry but I took their word for it and that’s when we were separated,’ she said.
‘I didn’t get a hold or a look or anything. I was taken alone to recovery and everyone else went with Phoenix and Gary.
‘I just sat there for hours shaking from the medication and wondering where the hell my baby even was. I had no idea what was happening. It was actual torture.
‘When they took me to my room, I thought I’d see him but they broke the news that we were too sick to be together so I wouldn’t see him for a few days.
‘This was breaking point for me. I went so numb to it all. I was angry and didn’t want to talk to anyone. I didn’t want any visitors and I didn’t care who came to see me.
‘I was in pain. I’d just had and then nearly lost a baby and I didn’t even know what he looked like. I had no connection.’
Four days later, Amy was allowed to hold her ‘miracle zombie baby’ for the first time.
‘When I held him for the first time, the world disappeared,’ Amy recalled.
‘Everything was old news and all that mattered was this little angel in my arms. He reached out with his tiny fingers and touched my nose and I melted into a puddle of tears.
‘I’d won the lottery, I was queen of the world I was the luckiest woman on the face of the earth that I got to keep this precious little boy. He was my entire world.’
Celebrating his first birthday, the mother said she thought the zombie-themed cake smash for Phoenix was well suited following the ordeal.
‘What better than a zombie-themed cake smash for the tiny baby boy who was pronounced dead and then miraculously came to life on Halloween,’ she said.
‘I’ve always been a really different and creative person, and I knew that I couldn’t just do a “naked baby with a blue cake in a studio” type shoot.
‘It had to be big, special and meaningful. We always called him our little zombie because he was brought back from the dead on Halloween so I thought let’s have him eating a brain.
‘The ideas just kept flowing from there and we decided a walking dead style shoot with a gross brain cake would be a perfect shoot to showcase our emotion and our story.
‘Plus Phoenix would have some super cool first birthday photos to share on his 21st.’
